Our Employment and Training Team help unemployed jobseekers.
We provide the creation of employment through various works and activities involved in housing development, planning, property rehabilitation, continuous property management, various community social services etc. Apprenticeships.
We offer skills-based training will be offered to the communities to create a pool of well qualified people who will be involved in property development activities and related services.
If you’re looking for employment and training, our qualified professionals can offer you free advice and guidance in your search for a job or your preparations for working life. They work closely with a range of employers and local partners to access a range of job vacancies.

Who can use this service?
The service is available to everyone, including non-Peabody residents, who are:
- Aged 16+
- Unemployed and looking for work
- Working part-time and receiving in-work benefit
- Have the right to work in the UK (proof required)
What do we do?
We provide help with writing CV’s and cover letters, completing application forms and personal statements, interview preparation, training and careers guidance. This is delivered by our team of experienced and friendly advisors who provide personal 1-2-1 assistance that is free to all.

Young Leaders and Ambassadors Programme
This is an amazing opportunity for young people between the ages of 11 to 25 to make a difference within their local community. They work towards an OCN Level 2 accredited Young Ambassadors Award and gain the skills required to positively represent the views of their communities. It’s fun and interactive.
Transitions Programme
This supports young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in England. It helps them to build positive independent futures and develop essential employment and life-skills.
Careers Academy
This provides a platform for young people to access work placements to develop transferable professional skills and gain experience of a working environment. The young people are able to:
- Access Enterprise Workshops to apply their learning to their own business
- Visit workplaces to gain a feel for working life
- Visit universities to understand what it’s like to be a student
Social Enterprise
The social enterprise programme gives young people the opportunity to attend business masterclasses, gain industry mentoring, get access to desk and event space, and receive training and business development bursaries and placements and project development.
